This is the neighbourhood in which Laburnum is situated. We are in Block A there are the blocks all together. In Indian cities, only major roads have names, there are then various neighbourhoods, which are divided in to blocks (though not necessarily square) and allocated plot numbers.
This is a view of Laburnum, with an unused plot in in the foreground. Plots are then sold to businesses, building companies who construct apartments, or to individuals who build their own houses. As the area is still growing, there are many areas of empty land and houses being built.
This view shows some of the houses and apartments already built. Empty plots become short cuts, or cricket pitches for the local lads.
Another general view.
One of the other local residents. Others include, sheep, goats and donkeys that make various appearances.
